Loaded Pistols (1948)

Loaded Pistols is an American western film released in 1948 by Columbia Pictures Corporation. The film stars Gene Autry as Gene, a man who is protecting a wrongfully accused innocent from the law. Gene eventually re-enacts the crime in order to try and identify the killer.

The Plainsman (1936)

The Plainsman is a western released in 1936 by Paramount Pictures. The film is a fictionalized dramatization of the adventures and lives of Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Buffalo Bill, and General George Custer. Charles Bickford plays Lattimer, the movie’s main villain.

Sunset Trail (1939)

Sunset Trail is a western film released in 1939 by Paramount Pictures. The film follows the story of Hopalong Cassidy, a man posing as a confused Easterner who doesn’t understand the ways of the West, trying to solve a murder. Sunset Trail is the 22nd of 66 films involving the Hopalong Cassiday character.

Tall in the Saddle (1944)

Tall in the Saddle is a John Wayne western movie released in 1944. The film follows the story of a cowboy who arrives in town to find that his contact, a rancher, has been murdered. The cowboy must then solve the murder while dealing with the angry people of the town.

Three Godfathers (1936)

Three Godfathers is a western film released in 1936 by MGM Films. It follows the story of three bank robbers who discover an infant and his mother, who is dying, in the desert. The film was remade twelve years later as 3 Godfathers, with John Wayne in the leading role. Three Godfathers was released on March 6, 1936, and has a running time of 82 minutes.
